Last evening, I had the pleasure of hanging out with a few of the bloggers covering CPAC. We had a ball, (well, I did anyway) as drinks flowed from cocktail hour until the witching hour. On Tap’s own Cam Edwards was there along with a who’s who of bloggers.

But perhaps the best part of the evening was meeting the charming ladies of the Canadian blogging contigent: Wonder Woman and Girl on the Right. This was their first trip to CPAC, and judging from their posts, it seems that it was memorable.

Last evening’s festivities may also lead to a new contributor here at On Tap. But more on that later. For now, it’s time to take two more aspirin.

Cam: I know you didn’t forget Little Miss Attila, you just wanted to let me link to her.

Last night was a lot of fun, although I found out that I get a little motion sick when riding a train after a) having 3 beers and b) not eating for 12 hours. Not to mention the guy behind me on the Metro serenading his girlfriend with Guatemalen love songs at 1:30 in the morning.

Marshall:I certainly did not forget Little Miss Attila. Nor did I forget Sarah, the soon-to-blogger who works for Citizens for Free Beer (not their real name).

Cam: Either you were more drunk than you thought and were talking to an imaginary friend, or I didn’t meet her. At least, I don’t think I did.

Jim: Arrrgh. Looks like I missed a really good time. I clicked on the link and learned that my blogging brethren made a hell of an impression on Wonder Woman: “Drinks (but not pictures) were had with the charming and sexy Marshall Manson from On Tap and the uber-cool Cam Edwards…by far, one of the highlights of the trip.” Boy, I’ve got to get my ass back to the United States for CPAC next year. Hopefully, I’ll be one of the authors hawking my book and offering to name a child after those who make bulk purchases.

Cam: She made quite an impression on us as well. Love the red dress. By the way, I’m still trying to convince myself that uber-cool is just as good as charming and sexy, but I’m having difficulty.
