A Note to Our Few Readers
By: Cam Edwards on May 19, 2006 - 10:34 pm

A few posts down, in the comments, Sharon said something along the lines of “As always, Jim is right.”

Please don’t do that. Jim is right approximately 98% of the time, but when he gets it wrong, he gets it really wrong. I mean, look at the original title of his other blog. “TKS” originally stood for The Kucinich Spot, and it was an online love song to his favorite congressman.

Plus, he’s a Yankees and Jets fan. If that’s not wrong, I don’t know what’s right.

Jim: It’s funny, I had Sharon’s quote stitched onto a throw pillow and placed it on Mrs. TKS’s side of the bed.

Look, Cam, I know you don’t agree with Kucinich because of his voting record, but I think you’re being unfair by not giving him credit for his brilliant performance as Smeagol in Lord of the Rings.

And as for my correct-98-percent-of-the-time record, people ask me, how do you do it? And I give them the honest answer: “Hard work, get up early, eat right… BWAHAHAHA! Okay, I couldn’t keep a straight face. Cocaine and steroids, mostly, with an IV hooked up directly to the local Starbucks and enough alcohol to blow out Ted Kennedy’s liver.”

Wait a second, what about the current name of his blog? TKS? Ugh. Does that stand for The Kool-Aid Spot? Jim is only right 95% of the time, as any conservative Pats-Sox fan will tell you. In addition to being an endangered specie, we’re right 100% of the time.
