Looks like the House is gone. And I think the Dems end up with about a 15 seat majority. We’ll see.
The Senate is still in question. I bet GOPers hold it.
I was just getting into politics when Republicans won the majority in 1994 after 44 years of Democratic rule. I remember what it was like to be in to be in the minority. It sucks. It’s not any fun. And I sincerely hope the crowd of Congress-critters who have forgotten their principles and cost us our gains learn what it’s like.

Republicans need to remember, always, that they cannot engage in the same level of arrogance of power and corruption that Democrats can get away with, because the Dems have the MSM in their back pocket (relatively speaking). The GOP must be squeaky clean if they hope to attain and stay in power. They also need to recruit a better class of candidate and party leadership. Hastert and Frist are/were just terrible PR symbols of the legislative GOP. What Republican didn’t wince every time they saw Hastert on camera trying to defend the party?
