At CPAC: Just Met John Cox
By: Marshall Manson on March 2, 2007 - 4:41 pm

Mr. Cox says he’s running for President. Apparently, he ran for U.S. Senate in Illinois a couple of years ago. Says he debated Barrack Obama “one-on-one”. I don’t know how he did in the debate, but he’snot Senator Cox, so I suppose that says something.

That said, he just told us that he would have vetoed McCain-Feingold, so I’m more likely to vote for him than for Senator McCain.

Congratulations! You just met this century’s Harold Stassen. Cox is a perennial loser in IL politics, and has about as much chance of winning the Republican nomination as Al Gore, Al Sharpton or Al Roker.
