Obama’s America

A few weeks ago I filled in for Mike Church on Sirius Patriot 144. Since Mike is known for his parody songs, I figured I should create something as well. Green Day’s “American Idiot” was such a big hit a few years ago that I figured it deserved an adaptation (all in the name of free speech, after all!) One of the listeners to “Cam and Company” liked it enough to create a slideshow to go along with the music, and since it’s now up on YouTube, I figured I might as well post the link here.

And here’s the .mp3 if anyone wants to download it.

[…] Sweet For those of you who listen to Cam & Company  on NRAnews, Cam did a parody of “American Idiot” called “Obama’s America.” Check it out at OnTap. […]

I’ve linked to it over at the Virginia Shooting Sports Association blog and on my personal blog, VA Gun Rights. I can just see the count meter soaring. :)

    LOL, nice David! Thanks!

Really well done both of you!

Thanks Carl. I don’t know if Cam would be surprised at me peeking in here or not. But even with how much I don’t want to ever see Obama anymore after making the vid I still think Cam did the hardest part. If he hadn’t sang it I wouldn’t have had something to play with to make the vid.

Heh, I could actually grab and download the video using the latest version of RealPlayer, so I can watch it over and over again without connecting to the Internet. GREAT JOB!!

That almost makes me wish I could afford to host the video without letting YouTube transcode it. Unfortunately I know I wouldn’t be able to afford that kind of bandwidth. I hope you used Real Player to get the High Quality copy that YouTube makes available on the main site and not the so called “Standard” quality it’s showing in embedded players.
